I just want to take a moment to share with you a few of the songs that are making my world go 'round these days. No commentary today, just the goods. Enjoy.
I listened them from MySpace. No downloading and such.
Son Lux: Strings and electronica. Good combo. I like the growing chamber pop feel. He has worked with My Brightest Diamond? I might check more of this later but I will certainly remember his name when the album comes by.
"You know that point in your life when you realize the house you grew up in isn't really your home anymore? All of a sudden, even though you have someplace where you put your shit, that idea of home is gone. [...] You'll see one day when you move out. It just sorta happens one day and it's gone. You feel like you can never get it back. It's like you feel homesick for a place that doesn't even exist. But maybe it's like this rite of passage, you know? You won't ever have that feeling again until you create a new idea of home for yourself, you know for, for your kids, for the family you start; it's like a cycle or something." - Andrew Largeman, Garden State

American Dollar: Oooh aaahh, the video was most excellent. Just lovely stuff in every way. The song itself wasn´t that special to me.
Bluetech: too digital to me.
Son Lux was the one for me from this lot.
That American Dollar video was gorgeous.
