Hi Skylark! Nice capture of the lake with the cloudy sky in the background. I love those shots with trees silhouetted in the foreground.

I have an answer to your search for what you are going to be when you grow up ... just don't! It's much more fun if you simply don't grow up!

As Jimmy Buffet says, "I'm growing older but not up!"

Have a very Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year!

What a peaceful, beautiful scene.

I don't know if you noticed this or not, but it looks like you captured some wildlife in that tree over to the right of your photo.

Thanks, everyone, for your kind comments.

Larry, thanks for the advice; that sounds pretty good to me! I suppose, though, that sometimes I at least have to pretend to be a grown-up.

Al, you're right; I did notice that, but I think it was after I took the shot and my friend (who has a zoom lens far superior to mine) was taking close-up shots of the little guy. I'm not sure I'd classify grey squirrels as wildlife, per se; I mean suburbia isn't exactly wilderness. Come to think of it, though, I did see some on exhibit once in a Mexican zoo, so I guess exotic is a relative term...

A lovely pale blue and white winter sky. Very nice indeed.
